Milito is injured and will be out for months

Real Madrid are targeting Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes as a replacement for their injured star, Eder Militao.

Despite Madrid’s interest, it is reported that the defender is happy to stay at Arsenal. The Brazilian defender was solid at the back for the Gunners in the 2022-23 season. A few European clubs were interested in the player, but he had no intention of leaving the North London club.

Arsenal signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax, and the defender started ahead of Gabriel against Nottingham Forest. It was a debut to forget for the Dutch defender, who injured himself and could be out of action for the whole season.

This injury means that Mikel Arteta cannot afford to lose another player like Gabriel. The Gunners were close to winning the Premier League title last season and have strengthened their squad by adding Declan Rice, Timber and Kai Havertz.

Gabriel has already made a decision and is happy to play at Arsenal. He joined the club in 2020 and has made 97 Premier League appearances for the Gunners. The 25-year-old has also shown his attacking prowess in set-piece situations and managed to score 10 goals.

Eder Militao’s injury was a huge setback for Los Blancos. Thibaut Courtois had earlier injured his ACL, and he will be out of action for a few months.

Real Madrid needs replacements and will target some of the top players in Europe. There is a lot of possibility that the Spanish team will sign players on a season-long loan.

Arsenal will play Crystal Palace tonight in their second Premier League match of the season. Gabriel is expected to start in this match and is nearing 100 appearances in the English top flight. He will continue to play for the Gunners.
