Spurs rejected Bayern Munich’s recent bid for Harry Kane

If Bayern Munich fail to reach a deal with Tottenham Hotspur within the next few days after having their most recent offer rejected, Harry Kane won’t join the German club.

This summer, there has been a lot of talk about the 30-year-old leaving the North London club.

Harry Kane has one season left on his Spurs deal, and if he plays out that season, he will be free to leave the club the following summer.

Bayern Munich are eager to sign Kane and has started taking measures to make a deal happen.

Spurs are debating accepting the Bundesliga champions’ final “take it or leave it” bid of £85 million including add-ons for the goalscorer.

Kane’s future is also uncertain because he has so far declined to sign a new contract with the team.

Three proposals from the German powerhouses for the England captain have been turned down by Daniel Levy and Spurs.

After Kane netted four goals in an exhibition match against Shakhtar Donetsk, the most recent offer, thought to be worth over £86 million, was rejected and now it’s uncertain if Bayern will come up with a new offer.

Following Tottenham’s victory against Shakhtar Donetsk in a pre-season friendly, Harry Kane inadvertently added fire to the rumours that he will quit Tottenham and join Bayern Munich this summer.

Bayern are still unable to provide Spurs with a compensation package that will persuade them to be part of their all-time greatest goal scorer, though.

Levy has met with the team more than once, and Kane reportedly spoke with Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel about a potential transfer.
