Kante and Benzema encourage Raphael Varane to join Al Ittihad

Raphael Varane scored the winner for Manchester United against Wolves
Raphael Varane, 30, of Manchester United, is reportedly attracting interest from Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, according to Sports Zone.
The report claims that Al Ittihad have been in touch with the spokesman of the former France international and has expressed a strong interest in the Frenchman.
N’Golo Kanté and Karim Benzema are the two French players the club has already brought to the Gulf Region this summer. According to reports, the pair is now enticing Varane to act similarly.
Varane has nonetheless thus far turned down the offer. The former centre defender for Real Madrid and RC Lens aspires to play in Europe for at least one more season.

Varane, who resigned from international service after the World Cup in Qatar the previous year, is bound for Manchester United through the summer of 2025.
He continues to be a fixture in Erik Ten Hag’s lineup and made the Red Devils’ Premier League debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
After the World Cup in Qatar this past summer, Varane announced that he was quitting the national squad and focusing the balance of his professional life on the club level.
He hopes to remain United’s primary selection for the upcoming two campaigns because he has a contract with the club till 2025.
The departed France international has served as an important member of Erik ten Hag’s team and has been crucial to the turnaround at Old Trafford. If he did decide to go next year, his expertise, quality, and presence would be dearly missed.
Varane has also lately expressed his worries about the oversaturation of top-flight football fixtures, which is expected to get worse with the introduction of the new Champions League format. This may have an impact on Varane’s decision to call it quits on his trophy-laden and successful European career.
