However, it is has been reported by Mario Cortegana that despite being match fit, star forward Kylian Mbappe will not feature in the game.
PSG are hoping that Kylian Mbappe’s omission from the team will create fan pressure and change his mind about him leaving on a free transfer next year.
PSG have made it very clear that they do not want to lose him without securing a substantial transfer fee. Kylian Mbappe has another year left on his contract at Paris, if he leaves after his contract expires, he will leave on a free transfer. Kylian Mbappe on the other hand, is adamant about completing his tenure at the Parc de Princes. He has been linked with a big money move to Real Madrid. Sources suggest that he himself is in favor of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, as it is his boyhood club. Mbappe even rejected what was the biggest contract in sports history from Saudi club Al Hilal to stay in Europe.
Mbappe was not included in PSG’s pre season squad of Japan, and has been reported absent from main team training and is training with players who are listed for transfers and exits.
As far as PSG are concerned, they seem to have come to the realization that there is no keeping Mbappe to PSG. They now look to make sure that Mbappe’s exit is not a financial loss-making affair for them. As far as PSG are concerned, Mbappe is up for sale.
