Kylian Mbappe open to joining Chelsea on loan for one year

The French star has said yes to joining the Blues
Mauricio Pochettino has been informed by Kylian Mbappe that he is willing to make a wage sacrifice in order to join him at Chelsea, but a possible move could be subject to one significant requirement, as per sources.
With his contract at Parc des Princes about to expire in a little under 11 months, the PSG superstar is once again the focus of strong rumours this summer.
The Ligue 1 giants are keen to prevent their best asset from leaving for free next summer after making clear that he is opposed to signing a contract extension.
Authorities at PSG reportedly worry that Mbappe has already signed a covert pre-contract deal to join Real Madrid when he becomes a free agent in the summer of 2024, according to reports in France.

The 24-year-old will reportedly receive an enormous signing-on fee for that transfer; many estimate it will be close to €100 million.
PSG’s dissatisfaction with the current situation is understandable. He was initially brought to Paris from Monaco in the summer of 2017 for a whopping £162 million on a season’s loan.
Mbappe became their all-time greatest goal scorer during that span, and he also added five Ligue 1 championships to his resume.
And if the World Cup winner left for his highest asking price, any deal to hire him would undoubtedly set a new benchmark.
In fact, the Saudi Arabian Pro-League team Al Hilal made a rejected offer of €300 million for Mbappe. The Saudi giants came to Mbappe after failing to sign Lionel Messi, giving him a one-year deal and eye-popping salaries of €700 million for his season in the desert.
Mbappe, nevertheless, has no plans of signing their offer and doesn’t intend to quit continental European competition just yet, as Fabrizio Romano reported.
