Lazio close to completing signing of Japanese talent Daichi Kamada

Serie A club have reached an agreement to sign a Japanese midfielder
Daichi Kamada has reportedly verbally agreed to join Lazio as a free agent, and will be officially unveiled as the Serie A club’s player in the coming days.
After the 26-year-old Japanese star left Eintracht Frankfurt last month, the Biancocelesti recently resumed negotiations with him. Both Milan and Roma were rumoured destinations for him, but neither move happened.
Following a recent conversation between Maurizio Sarri and Claudio Lotito, where the coach vented his dissatisfaction about the lack of movement in the market, Lazio has become more active in the transfer window.
According to Manuele Baiocchini of Sky Sports Italia, Lazio and Kamada have now reached an agreement on the parameters of a contract. Kamada will join the team on a two-year deal with a third-year option.

The Japanese playmaker will make about €3 million net every season in addition to add-ons, fees, and a €4 million joining bonus. On Thursday or the days after, he’s anticipated to write something down.
Sponsors supported the change, with Japanese sportswear manufacturer and maker of the Biancocelesti uniform Mizuno helping to make it happen.
The 26-year-old’s deal had expired following six years with Eintracht Frankfurt of the German Bundesliga, which includes a season spent on loan at Belgian team Sint-Truiden.
Although Kamada had reportedly reached an agreement with neighbouring Italian club AC Milan, the transaction was never finalised as a result of organisational policy changes.
Lazio, which finished second in Italy’s premier division the previous year, will participate in the European Champions League this year.
