Messi, who has since set Barcelona’s (672) and La Liga’s (474) all-time hitting records, has a propensity to break scoring milestones along the way.

The Argentina captain is aiming for yet another colossal success. Messi is eerily close to breaking Gonzalo Higuain’s record of 29 goals in three seasons and 70 games set by his counterpart in Argentina. Only 24 goals separate Messi from Higuain’s record.

Achieving this milestone appears to be well within Messi’s reach given his skill as a goal scorer and his capacity to work sorcery on the pitch.
