The 23-year-old Ghanaian has been a West Ham target the whole transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus is scheduled to fly into London for a medical before he will put pen to a five-year contract with Premier League side West Ham United. He will be flying in from Amsterdam, where he spent 3 years as an Ajax player. The winger’s arrival in London is a result of a deal with a transfer fee of €41.5m, with €3m as add Ons. The winger has been long admired by manager David Moyse and us expected to pump up what many have been calling a relatively thin West Ham front attack.

It is reported that personal terms have already been agreed between the player and the club, and with the transfer fee being accepted by Ajax, the only remaining formalities include him completing his medical and signing the contract which will keep him in London for the next five years, the contract also has the possibility of a 12-month extension.

Once the deal is completed, he will be joining former Ajax teammate and new signing Edson Alvarez and Julian Ward Prowse from Southampton.

The 23-year-old’s arrival is a part of many other signings the London outfit has undertaken after they sold Declan Rice to Arsenal on a club record fee of €105m. Instead of investing that money on one big name, the Hammers have gone the other way to diversify their investments by acquiring younger players who may later go on to have a higher resale value in the coming future.’

Mohammed Kudus has been earmarked by many as someone with a bright future ahead. The 23-year-old has been instrumental during his time in Amsterdam and was reportedly on the radar of many top clubs.
