Napoli were Scudetto winners last season as they won the Serie A title for the first time since 1990. They were able to wrap up the title with five games to spare, sending the whole of Naples into party mode. It looked like it could have been a difficult season for the Partenopei after losing a host of key players last summer.

Names such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens all left the club. But still, they managed to get the right replacements, which worked like completing missing pieces of their title run.
