South Korea announce squad for September International friendlies
The South Koreans face Wales and Saudi Arabia
South Korea will play against the European side Wales and the Asian team Saudi Arabia in their two international friendlies scheduled to be played in September.
The South Korean national team is managed by legend Jurgen Klinsmann. He took over after their Round of 16 exit against Brazil in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
South Korea will face Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on September 7. Their next match is also scheduled in the UK at St. James’ Park.
The team is yet to win their first match under the new coach. Klinsmann’s era started with a 2-2 draw against Colombia. This was followed by a narrow 2-1 defeat against Uruguay.

The squad is a mix of young and experienced players. They will look to build some momentum before the Asian Cup that will be held in January. Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-Min is expected to miss these two matches.
