Spurs will use money from Harry Kane's sale to sign two Barcelona players

The English star looks set to join Bayern Munich
England and Tottenham Hotspurs ace Harry Kane has been linked with a big move since the transfer window began. Many teams across Europe have shown interest in the striker, including Manchester United, Chelsea and even PSG, who look for a striker after putting Kylian Mbappe up for sale.
At the moment, Kane is most likely to end up with Bundesliga champions Bayern München. He has been linked with a move to the Allianz Arena for a few weeks now and the deal seems to be materializing with Bayern Representatives flying in to discuss terms with Spurs representatives on Monday.
A big topic in the whole deal is of the transfer fee. Bayern are ready to break their transfer record and have offered Tottenham £85m for the England captain. Tottenham are reportedly not satisfied and have said that they value Kane at £100m. Talks are reportedly on and Bayern München are convinced that the striker himself wants to move to the Allianz Arena for the coming season.

While negotiations for Kane’s transfer fee go on in London, Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo has reported that Tottenham have started to draw up plans as to how they plan to spend the money they will acquire from eventually selling Harry Kane.
Spurs are reportedly eyeing two Barcelona players. One of them is midfielder Franck Kessie. Kessie arrived at the Camp Nou after a successful stint with AC Milan, the midfielder has often been praised for his speed and ball distribution and has always been an option for teams looking to strengthen their midfield.
However, since arrive at Barcelona, he has been given very less game time and only had 7 starts in the last season. He was not a part of the pre-season against Arsenal and is reportedly not a part of Barca manager Xavi’s future plans. The Ivorian has also been linked with a move to Juventus, but he reportedly himself is leaning towards the prospect of joining the Spurs.
Another player Spurs are targeting is Frenchman Clement Lenglet. Lengel joined Barcelona in 2018, after staying with them for four seasons, he was loaned to Tottenham Hotspurs in 2022. In London, the centre back found semi-regular playing time. With the Lilywhites looking to strengthen the back third of the pitch, they are looking to sign him permanently.
This kind of an arrangement works out for both the sides as Barca manager Xavi wants him gone by the end of the transfer window. And even if he does not leave, Barca are ready to greenlight a loan move with an obligatory buying option at the end.
However, both these signings depend on how successful Tottenham are when the Harry Kane deal goes through.
