Tottenham ready to let Pierre-Emille Hojbjerg go for a 'suitable offer'
The Danish midfielder has 2 years left on his Spurs contract.
It is being reported that Tottenham are ready to let midfielder Pierre-Emille Hojbjerg go for a suitable offer before the English transfer window closes the coming Friday on 1st September.
No price has been revealed by Tottenham yet, however it must be mentioned that Hojbjerg was close to joining Atletico Madrid at the start of the transfer window. However, he decided against leaving London at the last moment.
Although no official moves have been made, it is being reported that Manchester United have approached the player to try and convince him to come to Old Trafford. It is being reported for a while now that Manager Erik ten Hag is desperate to sign a new midfielder as United’s start has not gone the way it was expected.

Their first game was a hard fought 1-0 win against Wolves, their second game was a 2-0 loss to Tottenham, and their third game was a 3-2 victory against Nottingham Forrest, a game in which they went 2 down within the first ten minutes.
On the other hand, Mason Mount’s injury has forced Ten Hag’s hand into searching for quality midfielders to bolster United’s presence in the central third of the pitch.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed, Hojbjerg is said to be more than likely to move away from the London club this summer.
He is valued to be around €40m and it is said that United may come up with an offer soon as the transfer window is set to close in less than a weeks’ time, and that Ten hag’s desperation to sign midfielder is not hidden anymore as he is said to be in pursuit of Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat and Ajax’s Ryan Gravenberch.
