Due to an injury, the Danish striker missed United’s 1-0 victory over Wolves on Monday night. He sustained a back injury during the Atalanta preseason, and it is not anticipated that he will return until September.

Rasmus Hojlund joined United from Atalanta earlier in the season, but the talented centre-forward has been sidelined with a back injury. However, there have been rumblings that the Danish international might make an appearance against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, though as a replacement.

Hojlund’s integration may be sped up by United due to their need for goals and skill at the offensive end of the pitch, yet they are still going to want to control the Dane’s playing time as his recuperation progresses.

Hojlund played in 12 league matches as a substitute and made just 20 Serie A starts for Atalanta last year. The relatively untested target player may anticipate seeing a comparable amount of play in his first Premier League season.
