Odisha FC earned a big victory against Maziya S&RC in their last AFC Cup game

After experiencing a close defeat in a Indian Super League (ISL) tie against FC Goa in their previous match, Odisha FC is fully committed to making a strong comeback as they gear up to face Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Friday, 27th October.

Odisha FC will take the field with great confidence after their recent success in the AFC Cup match against Maziya S&RC. They emerged victorious in a dominant manner, securing a remarkable 6-1 victory in the match.

Head Coach Sergio Lobera and Jerry Mawihmingthanga, who were present at the pre-match press conference, exuded confidence before the upcoming match.

On being asked about the performance of Odisha FC players in the last couple of matches, Sergio Lobera replied, “I believe our team competed exceptionally well. Throughout this season, we have made significant improvements, just like other teams in the competition. I am genuinely delighted and proud of my players, particularly their outstanding performance in the AFC Cup.”

“As we move forward, we will be facing a series of challenging competitions, with five games scheduled within a span of 15 days, including frequent travels.
