India lost all their AFC Women's Olympic Qualifiers.

The Indian women's football team concluded their campaign in the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifiers Round 2 with a 3-0 defeat to Uzbekistan.

The match commenced with an early goal scored by Kudratova Nilufar of Uzbekistan in the second minute of play. However, the Indian defence showcased commendable performance by preventing the home team from scoring more goals in the first half.

At the start of second half, skipper Karachik Lyudmila scored the second goal for her side in the 51st minute to take the scoreline to 2-0. India experienced a setback when goalkeeper Shreya Hooda sustained an injury during the second half, leading to her replacement by Sowmiya Narayanaswamy. Seizing the opportunity, the opposition managed to score their third goal in the 83rd minute, courtesy Karachik Lyudmila who got on the scoresheet once again.

India

Shreya Hooda - 8

Shreya Hooda was the best player for India on the field. The goalkeeper blocked numerous strikes by the Uzbekistan team before leaving the field due to a head injury in the second half.

Sweety Devi Nganbam - 7

Sweety Devi was the best defender for India, consistently appearing in crucial areas throughout the match. She executed several significant clearances.

Ashalata Devi - 6

Ashalata Devi occasionally struggled in retaining possession and sometimes misplaced her passes. Unfortunately, she was unable to effectively prevent the opposing team from scoring goals.

Astam Oraon - 6

Astam faced difficulties while strategically positioning herself in order to effectively defend against the Uzbekistan forwards and prevent them from entering the box.

Shilky Devi Hemam - 5.5

Shilky Devi seemed puzzled throughout the entirety of the match. Her contribution to the team remained relatively insignificant.

Sangita - 6.5

Sangita was brave and tenacious in midfield, putting in a lot of work and covering impressive ground. Won quite a few battles and moved the ball forward pretty well.

Anju Tamang - 6

Anju showcased glimpses of potential but failed to capitalize on them, leading to a rather underwhelming performance.

Manisha - 5.5

Manisha's inability to penetrate the defence line of Uzbekistan can also be described as a subpar performance on her part.

Bala Devi - 6

The forward struggled to exert her authority and had limited impact on the game. She failed to pose a threat to the opposition and was unable to create opportunities for her team.

Dangmei Grace - 6.5

Dangmei exhibited a significantly improved performance in the second half, in contrast to the first wherein she frequently relinquished possession and failed to capitalize on the opportunities that were generated.

Ritu Rani - 7

The lone protagonist from India, Ritu exhibited superior command at the forefront and was the only beacon of hope. In the second half, she crafted several opportunities, but none were converted into goals.

Substitutes

Renu - 6.5

Renu joined the game at the beginning of the second half. The forward appeared somewhat unrefined on the pitch at certain moments, and her command over the ball looked compromised.

Sandhiya Ranganathan - 6

Sandhiya replaced Dangmei but couldn’t match the game that the latter had built in the second half.

Soumya Guguloth - 6

Soumya was substituted for Anju Tamang during the second half of the match. She had a few opportunities but was unable to convert them into goals.

Ranjana Chanu - 6.5

Ranjana was brought in for Manisha in the 73rd minute. Throughout her stay, she demonstrated a composed demeanor, in contrast to Manisha, who seemed to lack control.

Sowmiya Narayanasamy - 5

Sowmiya was entrusted with the goalkeeping responsibility after Shreya Hooda suffered an injury. However, she struggled to replicate Shreya's level of play and also conceded a relatively straightforward goal that could have been prevented.
