The Mumbai City coach reached the mark after beating Punjab FC

Mumbai City FC had to work hard to go past Punjab FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) on Thursday as two goals inside a minute helped the Islanders turn a one-goal deficit into a lead.

In the frenzy of that decisive minute, head coach Des Buckingham reached a milestone of 100 goals scored under his tutelage in the ISL.

The Englishman is only the third head coach in ISL history to oversee 100 goals at a single club after Sergio Lobera at FC Goa and Manolo Marquez at Hyderabad FC

Moreover, Des Buckingham is the fastest among the three coaches to reach the 100 mark as he has managed the feat in just 47 matches.
