Brazil announce squad for upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023

Brazil are the defending champions of the FIFA U-17 World Cup

The rosters of every national team that competed in the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 are listed below.

By the FIFA deadline, each side had to select a roster of 21 players, three of whom needed to be goalkeepers. Each member of its representative squad had to have been born on January 1, 2006, or later. Every player’s age is as of November 10, 2023, which is the opening day of the competition. The senior national team has capped those indicated in bold.

One of the front-runners for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, Brazil, has revealed their 21-man roster, which includes some intriguing names.

Three times before, Brazil won the U17 World Cup. Their senior team has set a record five times as World Champions. In the 2015 competition, they were quarterfinalists in the previous edition held in Chile.

They enter the competition having captured the South America U-17 Championship for the twelfth time this year. With their electrifying outcomes, they swept the competition and defeated the hosts, Chile, five times in the finals.

There is plenty of attacking talent on the team. Brazil is one of the tournament favourites, thus it makes sense that they would be announcing such an aggressive team, so we could expect some Samba brilliance.
