Canada announce squad for November international break
Canada will face Jamaica in CONCACAF
The men’s national team of Canada are vying for their first title since the Gold Cup of 2000 at this month’s CONCACAF Nations League finals. The 23 Canadians who are competing to win the title are now known.
The whole core group that qualified for the 2022 World Cup is present, including Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Cyle Larin, Stephen Eustáquio, Tajon Buchanan, Alistair Johnston, and others.
This month in Vegas, nineteen out of the twenty-three players who travelled to Qatar will compete. There are three players: 35-year-old Milan Borjan, the custodian.

For the tournament’s debut against Jamaica in the two-leg quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League, Canada have released a 23-man squad under interim coach Mauro Biello.
The two clubs will play one leg in Kingston on November 17 and the second match in Toronto’s BMO Field on November 21.
Lucas Cavallini of Xolos and Tajon Buchanan of Club Brugge, both wingers, are back in the Canadian team after injuries. Mark-Anthony Kaye, a midfielder with the New England Revolution, receives his first call-up since the spring.

Defenders – Sam Adekugbe (Vancouver Whitecaps), Derek Cornelius (Malmo), Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich), Luc de Fougerolles (Fulham), Alistair Johnston (Celtic), Richie Laryea (Vancouver Whitecaps on loan from Nottingham Forest), Kamal Miller (Inter Miami) and Steven Vitoria (Chaves)
Midfielders – Ali Ahmed (Vancouver Whitecaps), Stephen Eustáquio (Porto), Mark-Anthony Kaye (New England Revolution), Ismaël Koné (Watford), Jonathan Osorio (Toronto FC) and Samuel Piette (CF Montreal)
Forwards – Tajon Buchanan (Club Brugge), Lucas Cavallini (Xolos), Jonathan David (Lille), David “Junior” Hoilett (Vancouver Whitecaps), Cyle Larin (Mallorca) and Liam Millar (Preston North End)
