A first-half red card for Daizen Maeda left the Scottish outfit facing an uphill battle against their LaLiga opponents, this weekend the pressure is now on the defending Scottish Premiership champions as they will look to show their ability to fight back.

Aberdeen currently sit midtable in the Scottish Premiership, they won their last two league matches, scoring four goals against Motherwell and keeping a clean sheet against Hibernian, demonstrating their attacking prowess and defensive solidity.
