Christopher Nkunku to make Chelsea debut after November international break

The Frenchman picked up an injury in pre season
Fabrizio Romano has hinted that Christopher Nkunku might make his Chelsea debut after the break for international play.
Nkunku has remained sidelined since preseason due to a major knee injury. As a result, the French forward has yet to make a competitive game for the Blues.
However, Romano claimed that the 25-year-old might return to Mauricio Pochettino’s side shortly. The transfer analyst expects Nkunku to return shortly but dismisses the possibility of him facing Manchester City this coming weekend. He stated on his YouTube channel:

From what I’m hearing, despite some rumours in the last 24 hours because of an Instagram stories post from Nkunku posting some positive message ahead of the weekend, what I can tell you is that Chelsea will take no risks with him. So he will not be on the pitch this weekend.”
“They don’t want to take any risks with Nkunku because he is a crucial player for the present and the future, for Pochettino and the club, they are altogether on the same position.”
So what’s the plan? He’s not going to be tried this weekend but he’s going to be ready after the international break. This could be at the beginning of December. Let’s wait for the next steps but between the end of November and the beginning of December, Christopher Nkunku is expected to return on the pitch for Chelsea.”
Nkunku paid €60 million to join the west Londoners from Bundesliga team RB Leipzig this past summer. Some contend that the Frenchman contributed to Pochettino’s team’s problems in front of goal. The versatile attacker, formerly a young player at PSG, scored 70 goals and provided 56 assists in 172 games for Leipzig.
