Jeremie Frimpong's release clause at Bayern Leverkusen revealed

Frimpong €40 million release clause and is courted by many European clubs
Bayern Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong has a €40 million (£34.6 million) release option that will go into effect next summer, as reported by Sky Germany.
The former Celtics player “wants” that to happen, according to the article, which states that “the signs are clearly pointing to farewell after the season.”
This is true despite Leverkusen’s recent achievement under Xabi Alonso and the 22-year-old’s new deal, which runs until 2028.
They have already won 11 of the 12 Bundesliga games this season, including their 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen on Saturday. In contrast, Bayern Munich are still unblemished and sits just two points behind in second place.

Towards the end of the time of year, Jeremie Frimpong, an option for Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United, might depart Bayer Leverkusen for €40 million, according to sources.
Jeremie Frimpong inked an additional five-year agreement in October, although for the previous two years, he had been rumoured to move outside of the Bundesliga.
Since Erik ten Hag joined the team amid uncertainty surrounding the right-back position at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have been heavily connected. Although Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have performed admirably under the Dutchman, it is acknowledged that they are easily replaceable.
It’s reasonable to argue that Jeremie Frimpong is more effective as a wing-back because Ten Hag plays with a back four.
In that regard, a move to the Premier League would be quite intriguing; but, Chelsea, who are also interested, have a group that works well in a wing-back formation, even though Mauricio Pochettino is keen to abandon a back five.
A multitude of clubs are interested in acquiring the Netherlands international, who is a great talent despite his deficiencies as an all-around full-back.
