Manchester City interested in resigning Leroy Sane

Leroy Sane won two Premier League titles with the Manchester club
In the upcoming months, there’s a chance that Leroy Sane will make a summer return to the Etihad Stadium, as per a German newspaper.
After missing nearly the whole 2019–20 season due to a catastrophic ACL injury suffered during the FA Community Shield against Liverpool at the beginning of the campaign, the now 27-year-old left Manchester City in the latter part of 2020.
After that, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, two of Manchester City’s faster wide participants, have gradually left the team. Sterling left for Chelsea last summer, while Jesus left for Arsenal.
But the possibility of Leroy Sane making a comeback may have surfaced as City moves into a season where they are exploring their options for what some anticipate to be a significant summer roster revamp.
This is in line with a report from the German publication BILD, which Get German Football News translated and re-posted. They claim that due to Leroy Sané’s “poor displays,” selling the forward is now considered “a possibility.”

According to reports, Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry have not performed up to par in recent games, which is not what Bayern Munich officials are expecting from their players.
Therefore, should either player “continue to underperform,” the Bundesliga’s biggest clubs would not rule out the possibility of either player leaving if they receive a “big enough offer.”

Manchester City, the reigning Premier League winners, have only been keeping an eye on a select few players’ performances thus far, but they are anticipated to be looking for a new broad forward during summer transfers.
They travelled to Italy as part of their scouting expedition, where they closely monitored the development of Rafael Leao of AC Milan and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a forward for Napoli.
