Manchester United show interest in Europe's hot prospect Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz has emerged target for many European clubs
Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Florian Wirtz. That’s stated by SportBILD, who report on the player today as they clarify why all of England’s elite clubs are vying for his signature.
Having six goals and five assists in eight games in every competition so far this season, Wirtz is quickly establishing himself as the subsequent big thing in German football.
The major clubs in Europe have taken notice of that form, as seen by multiple German stories that have already connected those in England with a move.
Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the young player, which has already moved them to the front of the queue.
Keeping up the theme, SportBILD reports that experts believe Wirtz will earn €100 million or more in the next few years, and that elite teams like Manchester United and Man City are “already watching him regularly.”

They have previously expressed interest; in 2019, the family had meetings with officials from teams like Manchester City. In fact, when it became apparent that they had to leave Cologne, they ended up even “shaking hands” with those clubs.
Instead, he joined Bayer Leverkusen, where he has since excelled. He recently inked a contract extension with the team that would take him through 2026, bringing his annual compensation to over €5 million.
