Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set to visit India in February
The Manchester United legend will halt at three different cities across the subcontinent
Former Manchester United player and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is all set to visit India on a three-day trip, where he will visit three states across this time span.
The Norwegian will stop in Bengaluru on the 9th, followed by a short trip to Mumbai along the Southern Cost on the 10th. His trip ends with a visit to the City of Joy – Kolkata on the 11th.
Solskjaer will hold a special meet and greet event on these three days, and fans can purchase their tickets online for a chance to meet the United legend and be part of this ‘once in a lifetime event.’
The former Manchester United manager and player’s trip has been facilitated by Tilak Gaurang Shah, an affluent businessman and ardent United fan.
What Gaurang had to say about the event
“This Once-In-A-Lifetime event will have it all!” Gaurang wrote on his Twitter (X) handle.
“A 45 minute meet & greet with Ole, a picture of you and Ole printed to take home along with a 1999 Champions League Final Jersey signed by Ole himself and a lot more!”
“The highlight? An unfiltered, unscripted interview with Ole, hosted by yours truly! No holds barred, no press, no media! This kind of an event with Ole has never happened before outside of Manchester, and very likely, will never happen after this visit to India!”
It has also been informed that further details regarding the event, and the sale of tickets should go live within this week.
The news has stirred a lot of excitement in and around the Indian footballing fraternity, with fans and enthusiasts excited for this once in a lifetime opportunity of getting to meet a former UEFA Champions League winner, who was also a part of the squad that won the Treble in 1999.
