Alexis Mac Allister set to miss rest of 2023 action due to knee injury
Alexis Mac Allister will miss Liverpool’s next three games
The Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister will likely miss a minimum of the next three games due to an injury that is anticipated to keep him out of action for much longer than anticipated.
On December 6, during the 2-0 victory over Sheffield United, Mac Allister was involved in a collision with Vini Souza that left his knee completely sliced.
The 24-year-old needed specialised care to resolve the problem, although Klopp had stated that he hoped to return following Sunday’s match against Manchester United.
However, assistant coach Pepijn Lijnders announced before to the Carabao Cup quarterfinal matchup against West Ham that he will be sidelined until the New Year.
The Dutchman said that Mac Allister might be able to make the journey to Newcastle on January 1, but that is quickly coming. As a result, Mac Allister will miss the remainder of the season against West Ham, Arsenal, and Burnley.

This information runs counter to Lijnders’ previous report, in which he said Mac Allister was.
However, Lijnders was able to confirm some positive news regarding Ryan Gravenberch’s condition. A scan indicated that all he had was muscular exhaustion or DOMS, and he may potentially resume training on Tuesday afternoon.
Ben Doak, though, will have to miss a lot of time since he needs surgery to treat a knee problem.
“It will go into the New Year, but that could be possible, we play January 1 so, let’s see,” he told reporters.
Lijnders added: “He is a player who we miss. You see that in the game, sometimes it’s really rushed. He’s a player who’s really calm.
“So yeah we miss a few boys, but with Wata stepping up, Ryan, Curt, Harvey, Dom it’s still good.” “progressing well” and “doesn’t have pain anymore.”
