Top six clubs with most players used in Premier League history

Some of the best football players have featured in the Premier League
Premier League has witnessed a lot of football legends coming and representing some of the biggest clubs in the world. Teams either promote their academy players to the first team or sign new players.
Willy Kambwala of Manchester United was their 227th player to feature in the Premier League. Daniel Gore was their 228th player after making his debut against Aston Villa.
Here is a look at the top five clubs with the most player representation in the Premier League.
6. Everton – 269
Everton have never been relegated from the top division. The Toffees have managed to stay up every time with the help of new players. Everton have promoted quite a few players in recent times and also brought in a few from other clubs to ensure their top-flight status.
5. Manchester City – 270
Manchester City have spent a lot over the years. The investment made into the club brought in a lot of signings. Over the years, Man City have the same structure under Pep Guardiola. However, City have still made some big signings over the years.
4. Tottenham Hotspur – 273
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the biggest London clubs to play in the Premier League. Spurs have played consistently at the top level. A few legends have represented Spurs at the top level.

Aston Villa were moving up and down the ranks over the years in the league. This brings a lot of changes to the squad and 273 players have represented Villa at the top level.

The Blues made a lot of changes after new ownership in the early 2000s. Chelsea have a new owner who has brought around 30 players in the last two transfer window. They could be touching the 300 mark next season.

West Ham are also one of the biggest clubs in London. They are a top side in the Premier League and have the most number of player representations in the English top division.
