Elfie Haaland removes Erling Haaland from his FPL team after injury concern

Erling Haaland missed Manchester City’s game against Luton
Given that the Manchester City star’s father sold his son, fantasy Premier League enthusiasts believe they have discovered an injury indication for Erling Haaland. Due to a “bone stress injury” in his foot, Norway international Haaland missed City’s 2-1 victory over Luton.
Pep Guardiola was hesitant to take a chance on the prolific striker’s health. While Manchester City maintain that there hasn’t been any fracture, they haven’t revealed anything about when their formidable No. 9 might make a comeback.
Before a ball was struck at Kenilworth Road, Alf Inge Haaland chose to offload his son, according to FPL experts on TikTok. As the costliest player in the game and a £14 million asset, he could have opted to keep Erling off the pitch, allowing him to be added back into fantasy lineups if he received permission to play in the premier league again.

It’s thought that Haaland senior’s decision to fully cut ties with his son is a sign that he will be taking a long break from the game. When it comes to his FPL lineup, Alf Inge has kept with the City theme, starting World Cup-winning Argentina international Julian Alvarez in his offensive lineup.
Guardiola has acknowledged that Erling Haaland is still doubtful for Saturday’s City vs. Crystal Palace match. In addition, Haaland will miss the Blues’ Champions League match against Crvena Zvezda. Given that the Blues have a busy schedule that includes FIFA Club World Cup duty, Haaland might not play in the Premier League once more until at least December 27.
Speaking about the issue prior to his team’s valiant victory at Kenilworth Road, Guardiola said:
“After the last game against Aston Villa, he felt it and he cannot play. I don’t know [the length of the injury]. Week by week, day by day, we will see what happens. Erling has been so important since he’s arrived, that’s for sure. But during the season we see this sort of thing. Injuries, suspensions, problems, we have to adapt.”
He later added: “The team was confident because we were playing good. We had not bad results, some draws where we could have won. This is football sometimes, then it’s about how you come back.
“Today we came back in a good way. A big three points. We showed overall great football, especially in the first half we played very well, we found a lot of players in the pockets which is what we want.”
