It’s thought that Haaland senior’s decision to fully cut ties with his son is a sign that he will be taking a long break from the game. When it comes to his FPL lineup, Alf Inge has kept with the City theme, starting World Cup-winning Argentina international Julian Alvarez in his offensive lineup.

Guardiola has acknowledged that Erling Haaland is still doubtful for Saturday’s City vs. Crystal Palace match. In addition, Haaland will miss the Blues’ Champions League match against Crvena Zvezda. “Today we came back in a good way. A big three points. We showed overall great football, especially in the first half we played very well, we found a lot of players in the pockets which is what we want.”
