Ivory Coast have won this competition two times

Ivory Coast, the hosts of the AFCON 2023 have announced their squad for the upcoming tournament. Jean-Louis Gasset and his men are eyeing their third Africa Cup of Nations crown. They last won the tournament in 2015.

Galatasaray winger Wilfried Zaha has not been called up by coach Jean-Louis Gasset in the country’s 27-man Africa Cup of Nations squad.

Ismael Diallo of Hajduk Split got his first senior call-up, while Union Saint Gilloise’s Lazare Imani has been called up for the second time.

Ivory Coast will face Guinea-Bissau in their opening match of Group A. They will face Nigeria in the second match and Equatorial Guinea in their final group match.
