Mozambique announce 23-man squad for AFCON 2023

The Mambas are placed in Group B with Egypt, Ghana and Cape Verde
Coach Chiquinho Conde has named the 23 players who will represent Mozambique at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast 2023.
The Mozambican team finds itself in group B alongside Egypt, Ghana and Cape Verde.
When does Africa Cup of Nations 2023 start?
Beginning with six groups of four teams facing each other, and with qualifications centred around head-to-head outcomes between countries and secondly head-to-head goal differentials, the 24-team AFCON will be held from January 13 to February 11.
The four teams with the most points in every competition as well as the champions and runners-up will advance to the knockout round. The Ivorian capital of Abidjan’s Alassane Ouattara Stadium will host the final.
