Nottingham Forest lost their last four games in the Premier League

Joe Worrall, the club leader, and Scott McKenna have been excluded from first-team training at Nottingham Forest, according to Mail Sport.

It has been instructed that the two players train on different fields than the rest of the first team.

Additionally, they have been told to report to training at a different time than their more experienced peers. Although there hasn’t been an official statement explaining why the two were forced to practise apart from their teammates, rumours have it that their dismissal has nothing to do with disagreements or behavioural problems. We’ve reached out to Forest for a response.

It is acknowledged that both are free to depart the team when the transfer window reopens the following month.

Key figures in Cooper’s exuberant 2021/22 Championship promotion campaign were McKenna and Worrall.

When Forest returned to Premier League play the previous season, both players were key members of the team as Cooper led the team to top-flight survival.

The two have, however, seen little action this season; McKenna has played in five Premier League games, compared to Worrall’s six.

Cooper is under intense pressure to maintain his position at the City Ground in light of the events.

Forest is struggling, having only won once in their previous eleven games, which ended on Wednesday night with a 5-0 thrashing against Fulham.

Cooper is anticipated to lead this weekend’s matchup against the Wolves, but another setback would mean Cooper’s departure as head coach.
