Pedro Neto already has seven assists to his name this season

Pedro Neto, a winger for Wolves, fell holding his hamstring. Gary O’Neil reported on his injury condition.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw at Molineux stadium with Wolves coming back twice to even the score against Newcastle. With five straight victories in the league, Wolves are presently ranked 12th.

Before the game, Newcastle was the clear preferred, and Callum Wilson’s spectacular goal gave them the lead.

Wilson scored his second straight from the spot after Mario Lemina had pulled one back.Neto brought up Hwang Hee-chan for the equaliser, which he then scored.

“He’s moving around. Obviously hamstring injuries have very different levels of severity, so we’re hoping it’s on the smaller side,” he said via Birmingham Live.

“Hodgey (Joe Hodge) had a similar one in the cup game and wasn’t out too long, so we’re hopeful that Pedro won’t be missing for long. He’s been a big part of what we’ve managed to do so far, but for however long he’s out for, the group is ready to make sure we keep producing performances and we keep picking up points.”

Neto dominates the Premier League assists list for the current campaign despite missing the previous two games; he has added seven goals to his teammates’ totals at the top level.

Not surprisingly, several of the biggest clubs in English football have taken notice of that run of form. TEAMtalk has learned from sources that Wolves would need to receive £60 million to convince them to sell Neto during the winter transfer window. Manchester United and Arsenal are rumoured to be interested parties.
