UEFA Euro 2024: Complete list of groups, teams

Germany will host UEFA Euro 2024 next summer
The UEFA Euro 2024 groups are out as 24 teams are set to compete to become the best team in Europe next summer in Germany.
Germany vs Scotland will be the opening fixture of the tournament and will take place on 14 July 2024. Hungary and Switzerland are the other teams in Group A.
Defending champions Italy are placed in a tough Group B alongside Spain, Croatia and Albania. Luciano Spalletti has a huge task in hand in his first major tournament as Italy’s manager.
Euro 2020 runners-up England are in Group C along with Slovenia, Denmark and Serbia.
I don’t think England can complain with that group, I think it’s pretty favourable when you look at some of the teams that have been drawn out against each other so I think Gareth [Southgate] will be extremely happy, said Alan Shearer on BBC.
12 teams will compete for the final three spots. Poland, Wales, Finland, Estonia, Israel, Bosnia, Ukraine, Iceland, Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg will play in the playoffs. These 12 teams are divided into three groups and will compete for the remaining spots.
Ukraine, Georgia and Poland make it to the final tournament after winning their respective play-off ties. Georgia will play in the Euros for the first time in their history.
