Giovanni Reyna plotting Dortmund exit in January due to lack of game time
Sancho arrival has further hindered Giovanni Reyna playing time at club
According to Sky Germany, Giovanni Reyna is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund because he is dissatisfied with his playing time there. Reyna just switched agents, and his Borussia Dortmund contract expires in 2025. Real Sociedad, Sevilla, and Marseille have all expressed interest in Reyna. Dortmund, though, is asking for between €15 and €20 million for the American.
Giovanni Reyna had problems getting on the field in the initial half of the period, making just 12 appearances and making two starts. With the addition of Jadon Sancho, he is set to fall lower down the hierarchy at Dortmund.
Reyna hasn’t demonstrated anything to warrant a start this season, despite some strong outings during the previous campaign. The 21-year-old was substituted off at halftime in a match he started against Eintracht Frankfurt this season, having been very ineffective in the first half.
While Jamie Bynoe-Gittens’s talents have made it necessary for the Englishmen to pass Reyna in the standings.
The 21-year-old has reportedly already had offers from many teams, including Benfica of Portugal, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, and Villarreal in Spain, and Marseille, Monaco, and Lyon in France.
Mendes has also raised the possibility of going to Wolves or Nottingham Forest, two Premier League teams with which he has close relationships. Mendes and the Reynas anticipate additional teams to step up.

A number of these teams, like Marseille, who now have multiple players in Reyna’s position, have already declined the chance to sign the former New York City FC junior star.
Considering Reyna’s absence from first-team experience this season, Spanish teams, namely Sevilla and Real Sociedad, are particularly interested. They hope he can revive his career in La Liga because they think he plays the game properly there.
Reyna and his companions still have two weeks to determine Reyna’s destination, and they will take their time.
