Al Nassr plan to activate Takefusa Kubo's €60m release clause next summer

The Japanese forward has been shining for Real Sociedad this season
Takefusa Kubo, who has a deal with Real Sociedad through the summer of 2027, is the target of Al Nassr. Additionally, his contract has a €60 million release clause, which the Saudi teams can easily activate given their track record of landing major fixtures in the Middle East.
They have spent less, but given the price tag they have been given, a player would think twice about signing with them. Furthermore, Kubo is having a great season in the Spanish league right now, and Real may be secretly regretting trading him to their bitter rivals.
After failing to make a single first-team appearance, the Japan attacker joined Los Blancos from FC Tokyo in 2019 but departed for Real Sociedad at this time last year.
The 22-year-old reportedly rejected an offer from Al Hilal at the time that would have paid him €160 million over four years, according to AS.
However, Kubo’s decision to remain with La Real is scarcely shocking considering his age and the fact that he’ll have the chance to compete in the world’s premier club championship the next season.

While Takefusa Kubo might not be travelling to the Middle East this summer, several well-known players from Europe’s top five leagues will be—none more so than Karim Benzema, who’s going to formally depart Real Madrid on July 1 to join Saudi champions Al-Ittihad.
Manchester United has been linked to him due to his impressive performance. Since Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma is expected to miss the first few games of the season due to injury, Kubo’s knack for penetrating defences will be essential.
Although Takefusa Kubo didn’t play much in the 2022 World Cup, he is primed to take centre stage when Japan returns to Qatar for the Asian Cup, which begins on Friday.
