“I was very close to moving" Kyle Walker says he almost joined Bayern Munich from Manchester City

Walker said yes to joining Bayern before extending his deal at City
Kyle Walker acknowledged that he attempted to go from Manchester City to Bayern Munich in order to get away from the problems surrounding his private life.
In the past few weeks, Walker has been in the news due to his romance with television actress Lauryn Goodman, with whom he had two daughters.
He verbally consented to a £15 million transfer from Man City to Bayern Munich in July to join Harry Kane in Germany, despite all the drama in his personal life.
He expressed his regret to his wife Annie, with whom he has three children and anticipates a fourth, in a conversation with The Sun.

He added: “I tried to escape. Did I want to leave City? No, of course I didn’t. We’re the best team in the world at the minute. But it was a chance to get away from England and the media I was going to get.
