Joe Gauci set to join Aston Villa from Adelaide United until 2028

Joe Gauci is a part of Australia’s AFC Asian Cup 2023 squad
Adelaide United and Aston Villa have agreed on the signing of custodian Joe Gauci. The 23-year-old Australia International has finished his medical and is scheduled to start a 4.5-year contract that ends in 2028. Aston Villa are currently working on the paperwork stage to wrap up the deal before the window shuts.
According to a rumour by Sky Sports, the custodian will be signed as a backup for Emiliano Martinez, a first-choice gloveman who won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.
Although Unai Emery’s club is currently leading the Premier League and in fourth place, Newcastle defeated the team that Prince William is known to have backed 3-1 on Wednesday morning.
Gauci may relocate to England after declaring to Daily Mail in October of last year that he was dedicated to improving his goalkeeping skills in the A-League.
Additionally, in April, he signed a three-year deal agreement with Adelaide United. The Prince of Wales has been a longtime supporter of Villa and frequently makes trips to Bodymoor Heath, where the team practices.
‘Like any ambitious footballer, I am driven to get the best out of my career,’ he said.
