Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami suffer defeat at hands of Al Hilal in friendly clash

Lionel Messi & Co. played a seven-goal thriller
Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami side are in Saudi Arabia to play against two of the biggest clubs in the league. Inter Miami faced the league leaders Al Hilal in the first friendly.
It was going to be a difficult task for Inter Miami to play against the Saudi giants. In the end, the match ended in favour of Al Hilal.
There was plenty of excitement during the build-up to the match. Messi was going to play with his three former teammates, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. These three could have faced Neymar, but the Brazilian is out with a season-long injury.
The match started with total domination by Al Hilal. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the opener just inside the first 10 minutes. Abdullah Alhamddan doubled the lead for his side inside the next three minutes.
Luis Suarez pulled one goal back for his team. It looked like Inter Miami were back in the business but Michael had some other plans. Al Hilal forward scored right on the edge of the first half and hit the famous Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Siu’ celebration in front of Messi & Co.
