Joshua Kimmich has only one year left on his Bayern contract

In an attempt to capture Joshua Kimmich, a top player for Bayern Munich and Germany, Newcastle United has made a bold offer.

The German has hinted that he is prepared to quit the Allianz Arena in search of a fresh challenge. His contract expires in eighteen months.

The 28-year-old, who joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2015, has played for the team for most of his career. To prevent another instance of the Toni Kroos situation, which saw the midfield player join Real Madrid on a free transfer, Bayern wants to keep Kimmich, however, they won’t let the German play out his current deal.

This season, injuries have decimated Newcastle, and Sandro Tonali is currently serving a lengthy suspension for bet-related charges. However, the midfield player has no intention of leaving Bayern this month and will instead wait until the end of the campaign to decide his future.

Although Eddie Howe’s team is treading carefully when it comes to Financial Fair Play, it is reported that Bayern are eager to bargain with Newcastle for the midfield player.

Eight Bundesliga championships, three German Cups, six German Super Cups, one Champions League, and the Club World Cup are among the trophies that Kimmich has won.

Although they still have a match in conjunction, Bayern have a challenge in the league at the moment as they are now four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

They were recently selected to play Lazio in the Champions League round of sixteen. Newcastle are now dealing with an injury issue in their midfield as Joelinton, Joe Willock, and Elliot Anderson are all out.

Sandro Tonali will miss the remainder of his tenure due to a ban he is serving for a betting scandal.

The most recent four Premier League games for Howe’s team have all been in losses. They were also knocked out in the Champions League group round.

They have remained in the FA Cup, and they will go to Fulham for their upcoming match in the fourth round.
