Victor Osimhen signed a new deal with Napoli

Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, is willing to sign a contract this winter that would allow him to join Chelsea in the summer.

For most of the season, Osimhen has been at the top of Chelsea’s list of players they would like to add to their roster.

Although Ivan Toney’s age and expensive asking price are perceived as obstacles to a move to Stamford Bridge, they still like him. However, news that is sure to thrill Blues supporters has now been verified by insiders.

Osimhen would be pleased to complete a pre-agreement this month that will see him formally move in the summer, and he would be open to a proposal from the London side.

The star player for Napoli will not be moving this month; a transaction may only be agreed upon during this window through the pre-agreement.

With a release clause of approximately £112 million, the Nigerian international recently inked a new contract that guaranteed Napoli a sizable sum. Napoli will expect payment of this amount if they are to approve a trade this month.

Many Italian sources believe that this is the final season they will witness the 25-year-old wearing the renowned light blue of the Serie A champions and anticipate some activity in the upcoming weeks.

Regular communication has also been maintained with Osimhen and other former Chelsea players to persuade the striker to support the club’s idea.

One player who has communicated with him is Didier Drogba, and John Obi-Mikel has maintained constant communication with his compatriot.

In addition, Chelsea is under increasing pressure to act quickly because more teams are expected to be vying for Osimhen’s signing in the summer transfer window.
