The Copa del Rey 2023-24 Round of 32 will begin tomorrow when Atletico Madrid takes on Primera Federacion side Lugo.

This is the 122nd edition of the Spanish Cup and Real Madrid looks to defend their crown. They won their 20th title in the 2022-23 season. The Los Blancos will take on Tercera Division side Arandina in the round of 32.

Barcelona have the most Copa del Rey titles (31) in the history of the competition. Xavi’s men will take on the Tercera Division side Barbastro in their next match. Arandina and Barbastro are the only teams from the Tercera Division.

The winners of this competition are assured a place in the UEFA Europa League 2024-25 group stage.

Matches ending in a draw are decided in extra time and, if still level, by a penalty shoot-out. The competition was founded in 1903, thus making it the oldest Spanish football competition played at a national level. 

A draw will be held in January to predict the fixtures of the Round of 16.
