Will Lionel Messi play friendly match against Al Hilal?

Lionel Messi will be in the squad to face Al Hilal
Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami colleagues arrived in Saudi Arabia in advance of their Riyadh Season Cup matches against Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
Early on Friday morning, pictures of the Major League Soccer team landing in Riyadh surfaced on social media. The players also shared a brief video of themselves being greeted at King Khalid International Airport with flowers and Arabic coffee.
The game between Miami and Real Madrid on Monday is titled “The Last Dance,” a reference to the long-standing rivalry involving Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Miami will play Real Madrid on Thursday.
Lionel Messi is expected to be in the team for Al-Hilal’s 2024 Riyadh Season Cup opening round match against Inter Miami at the Kingdom Arena on Monday.
The Blue Waves have had an outstanding season thus far, but they haven’t played since December while the league takes a winter vacation. In their most recent game, they defeated Al-Fayha 2-0. In the 86th minute, Ali Abdulayhi opened the score, and amid extra time, former Fulham player Aleksandar Mitrovic increased their lead from the penalty spot.

After a poor season finale, Inter Miami is getting ready for the upcoming one. But their preseason campaign hasn’t gone as expected. Before falling 1-0 to Dallas on Tuesday, they opened the season with a 2-1 loss to New York City FC and a goalless draw against El Salvador.
After Monday’s match, the two clubs will play Al-Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, again within a month. Then, the Royals are going to play in the regular season while the Herons will begin their MLS preseason campaign in Asia.
Al-Hilal have been unbeaten in their last 28 games in all competitions dating back to mid-August, and they are now riding an incredible 20-game winning streak. Given that the match will take place in Saudi Arabia, the Blue Waves will be hoping for a victory.
Conversely, Inter Miami has lost six of their last 10 games and is winless in their previous ten games overall. Al-Hilal ought to prevail in this match given the big disparity in their respective records.
