Bayern are second in the Bundesliga behind Bayer Leverkusen
In our most recent conversation, we discussed whether Bayern will be able to turn things around and Eric Dier’s chances of making the England squad for the 2024 European Championship. Please find the answers to all of our questions below, along with the defender’s thoughts on them.
1. Do you think Bayern can review the situation?
We don’t know, but we are in a difficult situation, and we never know because anything football-related can happen. We need to focus on ourselves, and maybe we can change the fortunes of the season.
2. Eric, there were many wrong balls played today, and there has been talk of town on social media.
Well, it was just I was trying to help the team and use my quality, and I was trying to play Chupo, and I didn’t know he was offside, but he wasn’t offside, so it was a good ball.
3. So the Euros 2024 are coming, and you will be hoping to get your name on the England squad?
Yes, we have time, and I have to focus on myself and play well while the rest is not in my hands.

4. Who made you feel comfortable after joining Bayern? Was it Harry?
The entire staff played a big role, and players were also there for me and Harry too. For me, everyone has helped me become accustomed to Bayern culture and wishes me well.
5. Thomas Tuchel is leaving. How does it feel?
It’s never good when a manager leaves. The team wasn’t doing well, and we weren’t finding the results. Maybe a change in manager might have been needed. A club like Bayern, which also thrives, is not winning, so obviously, change might be needed to bring about a winning culture.
6. Have you talked to Kim Min-Jae?
Yeah, of course, we have a great relationship with him. I also had a great relationship with Sonny at Tottenham, and Min-Jae is a great player and a fantastic guy.
