Some of the top-rated players in the English Premier League history
Arguably the most competitive league in the world, the Premier League has always harboured some of the best attacking players in the business. Scoring for fun, assisting at will, and doing both when the situation demands it, seeing the superstars of the game in full flight has brought immeasurable pleasure to fans. The intensity of football in England’s top-tier league is always high and at times difficult to cope with. Yet some players have come out with flying colours and been major goal contributors in the competition.
The frequency of scoring goals in the Premier League is unpredictable and the same applies to assisting a goal. Staying consistent in the Premier League is no mean feat given its highly competitive and unpredictable nature. However, a few superstars have managed to find a way to get involved in the goals and assists in the same match.
Here we look at the four players who have both scored and assisted in 30+ Premier League games:
4. Mohamed Salah – 30
Since arriving at Anfield, the Egyptian has taken the league by storm with some breathtaking performances in front of goal. Salah’s fine form has seen him set several records. His consistency in delivering match-winning performances, both domestically and in Europe makes him special.
3. Alan Shearer – 31
Alan Shearer, the record goalscorer in the history of the Premier League, is arguably England’s best-ever striker.
