Top five youngest players to score in 6 consecutive Premier League games
Some of the lethal finishers in the Premier League history
The Premier League is widely regarded as one of the most competitive football leagues in the world. That has seen several world-class players, both home-grown and from abroad, ply their trade in the competition over the years.
The Premier League has been among the most talked about and enjoyed football leagues around the world. Over the years, several top-notch strikers have also graced the Premier League and have enthralled one and all with their goal-scoring exploits. There is something special about the young guns within the Premier League. The way they parry away the pressure and hurdles put in front of them by the most competitive league in the world is worth a sight.
It is a huge bonus when one of the youngsters in the team becomes the primary goal-scorer. Although quite rare, there have been a few young attacking superstars in the Premier League. On that note, let’s take a look at the top five youngest players to score in six successive Premier League appearances:
5. Thierry Henry – 22 Years & 263 Days
Forget the Premier League era, Thierry Henry is one of the greatest strikers of all time. Blessed with unmatched technical qualities and an unparalleled understanding of the game, Henry wreaked havoc in the Premier League during his time with Arsenal. Henry’s prolific goalscoring ability was critical in making Arsenal a dominant force in the Premier League in the early 2000s. The Frenchman have many records to his name and he has this record to his name as well.
4. Romelu Lukaku – 22 Years & 213 Days
He is a top player who has played for many big clubs in Europe, even though he has had some struggles with his form, he is still a quality player and there are no surprises to see him on this list. Lukaku is a powerful striker who, though more comfortable on his left foot, is also capable of striking the ball effectively with his right. His ability to twist and turn with the ball at his feet, and then strike it with either one, makes Lukaku a threat inside the box.
Lukaku, for the last several years, has been particularly effective at running into channels, chasing passes on the ground or carrying the ball himself whilst holding off defenders and running into dangerous spaces. Romelu Lukaku’s reputation precedes him, with the striker having shown his abilities in the Premier League, Serie A and on the International stage. With his physical gifts, ability to move well in the box and striking ability, he poses many problems for opposition defences.
3. Erling Haaland – 22 Years & 73 Days
Erling Haaland has been a freak of nature in the Premier League, breaking records for fun in his first stint in English football for Manchester City. It’s not any more surprising to see him on this list as he has already broken many records and made many records himself in much less time.
He uses his sizeable frame to hold play up effectively and involve others. He has the pace and clever movement to run in behind, he can dribble and create, and he can finish with both his feet and his head. His ability to carry the ball at pace also helps create for others, especially on the counter-attack. Even though he is less involved in possession than a typical striker, his calmness, patience, timing, and off-the-ball movement have a huge impact on build-up plays.

2. Joe Willock – 21 Years & 272 Days
Willock is a box-to-box midfielder, effective in attack and defence, he looks to drive on the ball making attacking runs into the box. Defensively, he plays strong and physical, fighting for every ball with determination. He has an attacking focus, pushing to get into positions to score and assist, that’s why he is on this list.
The most vaunted part of Willock’s game is the ability to impose himself on the attacking front with powerful progressive runs and wicked-sharp shooting. His explosive athleticism and mobility give him license to cruise forward making runs into the box beyond the striker.
1. Rasmus Hojlund – 21 Years & 14 Days
The 21-year-old frontman was acquired by the Red Devils for £72 million during the summer of 2023. It took until December 26 and a meeting with Aston Villa for Hojlund to open his league account for Manchester United, but he has not stopped scoring since then. Hojlund has, at the age of 21 years and 14 days, become the youngest player to score in six successive Premier League games. That record has been snatched from Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock.
He’s a versatile attacker who can stretch into space, drop to combine, slide runners through, drive at goal, sniff out opportunities in the box, and threaten from a distance. He can finish with curlers on the spin, dribbles past the goalie into an open goal, flicks backheels, soaring headers, and long-range thunderbolts, and he’s capable of doing it all on both sides of his body.
