Barcelona ace Lionel Messi sends Qatar's Asian Cup star Almoez Ali signed shirt
The cotinental showpiece's Golden Boot winner scored nine goals as his team lifted their first title.
Almoez Ali of Qatar was central to their Asian Cup 2019 triumph in UAE. His nine goals over the course of the tournament proved vital and earned him the golden boot award and the player of the Tournament award as well.
However, Lionel Messi signed shirt will be no less valuable for Almoez Ali, who is attracting interest from various European clubs. Messi has sent Ali a signed Barcelona shirt with Ali’s name and number at the back, and the signature of the Argentine.
The shirt was presented to the forward by the Bein sport presenter, Ayman Jada. Almoez has expressed his desire to play in Europe and has admitted to be making plans in the same direction.
He told Reuters that, “Of course, I look for European teams because in our league in Asia, not only in Qatar but in all of Asia, we know teams are weak and we see that at World Cup.”

He further added, “I hope to go out (to Europe) to learn and come back for the World Cup in Doha in 2022.
Apparently, the Qatari striker has been under AC Milan’s lens who want to sign him thanks to his stellar performance in the recently concluded Asian Cup 2019. Almoez Ali will be definitely a figure to look out for in the next edition of FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar.
