All clubs qualified for Europa League 2026-27 season ft. AC Milan & Crystal Palace

A total of 36 teams will make their way into the league phase!

Having won the UEFA Europa League seven times, the LaLiga side Sevilla FC are the record winners of the competition. They won the tournament for the last time in 2023, but this year Los Nervionenses have failed to even qualify.

Led by Unai Emery, the English Premier League club Aston Villa secured the Europa League silverware during the 2025-26 season. They will now play in the UEFA Champions League for the upcoming campaign.

This year, the UEL will feature teams like Sunderland (Premier League), Juventus (Serie A), Real Sociedad (LaLiga) and others. Even though there are not many top-tier teams, the competition in the Europa League is not easy. A total of 36 teams will start battling in the league phase.

The top eight teams on the table will secure a direct spot in the round of 16, while the teams ranked 9th to 24th enter the knockout playoffs. All of the knockout stage games are two-legged. Only the grand finale is a single-leg match. The winner of the UEL will secure a direct spot for the Champions League next season.

Both of the last two editions of the UEFA Europa League were secured by the Premier League clubs (Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa). It will be interesting to see which team will come out on top to secure the silverware.
