The forward Christopher Nkunku is likely to leave the Serie A club before the end of the summer transfer window.
The French striker is no longer in Ruben Amorim’s plans. He has had multiple offers as he seeks a new club: the Germans are top of the list, but other clubs are keeping an eye on him.
Christopher Nkunku is poised to depart AC Milan after falling out of Ruben Amorim’s plans. He might return to the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig, where he excelled before joining Chelsea in 2023.
Over the last several hours, the German club have made contact with the Frenchman’s entourage, while the Rossoneri remain interested in a loan.

3. Newcastle United
Newcastle United have had internal discussions about adding Christopher Nkunku as an offensive option. According to The Athletic, Nkunku has been suggested. Newcastle consider adding a forward who can play across the front line now that head coach Matthias Jaissle has had time to evaluate his roster.
Newcastle’s acute need for an experienced player means Nkunku is a name in the discussion. Not a definite target, as it remains to be seen.
2. Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs interested in former Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku. The 28-year-old might make his Bundesliga comeback as AC Milan prepare to cut ties with the former RB Leipzig star after only one season. Given his present wage, a loan looks to be the most likely answer.
Dortmund are reconsidering their offensive options after dropping their long-running pursuit of Köln winger Said El Mala. Nkunku’s flexibility to play as a No.10, second striker, or across the offensive line would make him a far more experienced option; however, his wages might be a major consideration.

RB Leipzig want to re-sign Christopher Nkunku, while Milan are ready to consider a loan deal. According to Sportitalia transfer specialist Gianluigi Longari, Bundesliga club RB Leipzig would like to re-sign Nkunku.
Leipzig have been ‘pressing’ in recent hours, aware that Nkunku is not part of Milan’s plans. The French striker joined San Siro from Chelsea last summer in a transaction worth more than €30 million.
