An English football manager and former player, Bryan Robson OBE was born on January 11th, 1957. He started his career with West Bromwich Albion in 1972 and served as club captain while making over 200 appearances before transferring to Manchester United in 1981. During his time at Manchester United, he earned the distinction of being the club's longest-serving captain and won numerous accolades, including two Premier League winners' medals, three FA Cups, one Football League Cup, two FA Charity Shields, and a European Cup Winners' Cup. In August 2011, he was recognized as the greatest ever Manchester United player in a poll of the club's former players featured in the book, 19, which celebrated the club's record-breaking 19th league title.
