The 65-year-old also spoke about winning trophies with the Red Devils, Sir Alex Ferguson and more.
As a Manchester United fan, what's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word captain? It has to be the great Captain Marvel Bryan Robson who scripted one of the most successful stints in United's rich history. From scoring one of the fastest goals in a World Cup to leading Manchester United to glory multiple times, Bryan Robson has done it all.
Robson was a mentality monster and he epitomized everything that a United player should be. The fact that he was an idol to an entire generation speaks volumes about him and his contributions to the beautiful game.
He is currently a part of Manchester United’s fan event, #ILOVEUNITED, an interactive virtual event, scheduled to be held on 20th February, for the club’s Indian fans.
The 65-year-old re-visited the memory lane and shared his feelings in an exclusive interview with Khel Now. Here's what he said:

Culture of the club
The Manchester United legend started off by sharing his views on the fans and the players. He praised the fans for their constant support and also threw some light on United's future plans.
He praised the fans for their constant support and "The easy one is the fans. They’ve always been the same - great supporters who get right behind the team. So, I don’t think the fans, since when I joined in 1981, have changed at all," He further spoke about the general culture around the club and threw some light on United's future plans. "The culture of the club has improved greatly since I joined. We used to just have Cliff Training Ground with only 1 ½ pitches. Looking at Carrington now, it’s amazing to see all the facilities that are available. It’s even got it’s own little hospital in there. So, it has definitely improved so much on that side of things.

"At this moment in time, as far as players are concerned, we are in a transitional period and the players are just lacking a bit of confidence. So, we know that we can and have to improve on that to compete against the best clubs in the world. The thoughts and the direction of the club doesn’t change, we know that we want to be one of the top teams in the world."
His best memorable moments
The two-time Premier League champion has played over 500 games for the Red Devils. When asked about his best moments in the red shirt and learnings from Sir Alex Ferguson, Bryan Robson replied, "The main lessons learned were how you prepare for games, understanding discipline and hard work in both training and diet. One of my favorite memories is back in 1992-‘93, when we won the Premiership for the first time in 26 years. Also in ‘91 in Rotterdam, when we beat Barcelona in the European cup final. Great evenings and great memories,"

Time in Asian Football
The English manager reflected back on his experience with the Thailand national team and in Asian football as a whole. He said that Asia have a lot of talent, but needs to be nurtured properly.
"It was brilliant to work with and see the culture of the Thai people. I was there for two years and the players were brilliant to work with. Did everything you asked them to do. There is a lot of talent in Asia. I believe it just needs to be nurtured in the correct way with good coaches, but there are some very good players out there," Robson concluded.
