The Portuguese midfielder has been a regular for his national side since the 2006 FIFA World Cup, with 113 caps. If he comes to England, he will be joining fellow countrymen Rui Patricio and midfielder Ruben Neves.
2014 World Cup winner Andre Schurrle is apparently eyeing a move back to London, with Fulham seemingly interested in the Borussia Dortmund man. According to multiple reports, the Premier League side are looking to get him on loan. The winger had earlier plied his trade for Chelsea.
Chelsea themselves are looking to sign Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland to reinforce their goalkeeping department, if Thibaut Courtois leaves for Real Madrid, reports The Sun. The Belgian has longed been linked to the Spanish outfit. His family residing in Madrid could be a telling factor in this speculated move. His arrival could also mark the end of Keylor Navas' time at Real.
